Thai Style with The Bradley's and an Urban Outfitters Giveaway!

Today the beautiful Elizabeth from The Bradley's is here to share a little bit about Thai fashion.  She has great style and I love reading about her adorable family.  Elizabeth also has a great giveaway for you lovely readers, so make sure to enter after reading!

One of the most enjoyable things I find of living in Thailand 

is being introduced to Thai style, which in my opinion is incredible!

There is not a young person on our island that doesn't don a pair of Ray Bans

( or Ray Ban knock offs)

In town there are plenty of vintage boutiques owned by young design savvy entrepreneurs 

who pay attention to Bangkok's trends and brings them to the youth of our island.

I'm constantly stunned by not only how ahead of trends Thailand is, 

but also how they are able to maintain their traditional style and yet inject it with 

a modern, hip design.

Everything from fitted flannel shirts and chambray to floral dresses and maxi skirts 

are worn by nearly everyone-and of course half the price of name brands.

Every weekend we go to the huge market across from my husband's school.

This is where most of the island shops for clothes as well as food.

Stall after stall of entrepreneurs sell their designs and merchandise.

It's a real treat to be able to support them and find items we cherish for years to come.

The only problem is that most clothes come in 2 sizes:

small and extra small.

A real challenge for curvy women such as myself!

This goes for shoes as well ( size 9? not happening)

Billy and I partook in a competition on Facebook to be the faces 

of a Thai clothing store based in Bangkok, and we came in third place.

It was a memorable experience and was absolutely fun!

In years to come, I believe the world will acknowledge how hip Asian fashion is,

particularly in Thailand, Korea, and Japan.

In fact Korean style is already becoming popular in other Asian countries and in Europe.

Soon maybe the US!

I don't know about you, but this post has me dreaming about a trip to Thailand!  I have wanted to visit this beautiful country for a while now.  They have gorgeous beaches, great food and apparently great fashion as well!
