Dress: c/o Lulu*s, Shoes: Target, Clutch: gift, bracelet:old |
I love dressing up in fancy attire. Sometimes I wish my husband had a bigwig job where he got invited to cocktail parties. I don't drink, but I would love getting all dolled up for the occasion! Even though Emery isn't Don Draper (yet), I'm sure there will be some holiday parties to attend this year...and this dress from Lulus.com will be the perfect thing to wear!
I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time finding a modest semi-formal dress. Almost every one I've seen is strapless, or just has little spaghetti straps. Those styles of dresses require me to wear some type of jacket on top, which can really take away from the dress itself. This dress has just the right amount of coverage and I don't have to add anything to it! Another thing I love is that it's really long, which is usually not the case for this 5'9" lady. In the future I will be wearing this dress with heels, but I didn't have any that looked right, so I went with some gold sandals. What color of heels would you wear with this dress? I think I would want to stick with gold, but I'm not sure...any ideas?

Ohhhhhmyyyyygoshhhhhh I so want that dress for holiday parties!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Love that dress!
ReplyDeleteOh, so pretty! I think it would make the perfect Holiday glam out and about dress! I'd probably think gold shoes would be the best, but could picture sparkly black or clear shoes working too with the right jewelry to tie it together.
ReplyDeleteOooh, clear might be an option. If I could find some that weren't too Cinderella looking, haha. I think I will begin my search for gold heels though :)
