I love the smells of Fall and Winter. Vanilla, cinnamon, cranberry, and pumpkin...just to name a few. So, I was pretty excited when I received a little package of scents from Kelly, the pretty lady behind Arcadian Designs. She sells perfume oils in her Etsy shop and today I want to share a few of my favorites with you!
First up is the Fall collection, which consists of I Fell For You, Hay Now, Campfire, Once Autumn A Time and Anna's Dragon. My absolute favorite of these is Campfire, which surprised me...because I'm not a huge fan of the real campfire smell (although I do love roasting marshmallows). This scent gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling, like I should be curled up in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate. Another scent I love from this set is Anna's Dragon, which is more of a sweet and fruity scent, with a hint of cinnamon. Once Autumn A Time was another one that I really enjoyed.
Kelly also sent me a preview of her Holiday Collection, which includes Angel Wings, Be Berry & Bright, and A Shining Star. My favorite of these was definitely A Shining Star. This one smelled like a sugary vanilla, with a touch of almond. I loved it and this one really reminded me of the holidays. Be Berry & Bright was another great one, filled with sweet berry smells (I think she picked out the perfect name for this one!).
One final scent I sampled was Cotton Candy...and it smelled so yummy! I was worried that it would just smell exactly like cotton candy (I don't want to smell like a little kid), but it was so much better. It was sweet smelling, but not too strong.
I think that Kelly is so talented and creative! I would never have a clue what different scents to put together, but the ones she has come up with smell so good! I hope you will take a minute to check out her shop, Arcadian Designs. She has also offered to give away a 40% off coupon to her shop and 1 month of Medium Ad Space on her blog, Leafy Not Beefy. Make sure to enter using the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway is open to all readers and will run through Monday, November 19th.

ReplyDeleteFirst off I want to say fantastic blog! I had
ReplyDeletea quick question that I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I've had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting
my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Cheers!
