Pretty Pink Pleats



Skirt: c/o Sugarlips, Top: DownEast Basics, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Necklace: Gift

I have seen a lot of cute pleated maxi skirts lately, but I especially love this pink one from Sugarlips Apparel.  Can it get more "girly" than a pink pleated skirt?  Probably not too much!  This skirt reminds me of something my Grandma would have worn back in the day.  Maybe that is why I love it so much.  

Maxi skirts are so nice, because they are long, flowy and super comfortable.  Plus, they can be worn in any season!  Okay, maybe I wouldn't wear one in winter...but the longer length does keep your legs somewhat protected from the colder weather (just throw on some tights underneath)!

Please forgive my hair.  It got a little bigger than planned and I just had to deal with it.  I hope you are having a great weekend!

      Thanks! You totally should! I do have to warn you...it is pretty sheer, so you might want to wear a slip underneath. It has a short slip built-in, but after seeing my pics I plan on wearing a longer slip the next time I wear this skirt :)

      Thank you! You just have to use some hairspray and tease it...Which can't possibly be good for my hair, but it's fun :)

    I love you and you look so amazing! I love looking at your blogs and wonder if I will ever find my style...between wearing scrubs five days a week and taking care of kids I don't seem to have much time to worry about style.

      Awww, thanks Daniellie! I don't even think I have a style of my own, haha. I just wear random things that I like! It is definitely hard to find time to dress up...I know what you mean. But you do look cute and you always find time to do your hair and makeup, which is further than I get most days :)
