I had kept short hair for years, well
on and off anyway. But it never got much past my ears anymore – not
like when I was young. Just too much fuss and bother. And my hair is
fine – nothing stayed in. But for some reason, which is still a
mystery to me, as I entered middle age I decided to grow it out.
That took a few years and once I'd done it (to about shoulder
length) I had fun, for a while. Playing with bobby pins (lots of
bobby pins!) and still trying hair accessories that didn't work.
After a year or so of that I started to get a little frustrated. I
don't have a particular knack for styling my hair, but sometimes I
got lucky and it looked really cute – but it still took too long to
get there and it wasn't often I had time for such sessions. I was a
homeschooling mom and a self-employed massage therapist, so what I
really needed was quick, professional and, of course, pretty!
Then I saw a Flexi Clip in a friend's
hair.
It passed the pretty test right off. Then she showed me how it worked. Similar to the old 'leather with a stick' hair accessories but the 'stick' was attached in such a way that it was impossible to lose and the top – which was no longer leather, was flexible – and very feminine! I watched her put it in once and I was hooked.
I emailed the company, who gave me the
name of a nearby consultant. (One of the best things I've found about
the company are the lovely ladies who sell the product!) I got a few
questions answered and decided I wanted to be a Lilla Rose
consultant. I loved the product, the company was young and I liked
the way it was structured.
Now I know that what I experienced has a name – we call it Flexi Love! And so this Valentine's Day I want to share the Love with you – one lucky reader will win a set of these lovely heart bobby pins. And look at all these other lovely heart-themed accessories we offer – they would make a lovely Valentine's gift for someone special.
From now until Valentine's Day I'm offering all Plane Pretty readers, who are first-time Lilla Rose customers, a buy 3 get one free special. Just contact me first to take advantage of it.
Blessings and Happy Valentine's Day to
all!
