One of Zoya's new collections for this Summer is "Irresistible", a set of six metallic shades in fun shimmery colors. Each of them was opaque in two coats and dried a little quicker than normal. There wasn't any weird streaking, which was nice (I've experienced that in some other metallic polishes). Here are the colors:
|
"Bobbi" |
|
"Tinsley" | |
|
"Amy" |
|
|
"Kerry" | |
|
"Hazel" | |
|
"Rikki" | | |
My favorites are the last two, "Hazel" and "Rikki". I love the little specks of gold mixed in with the green and blue. The orange polish ("Amy") is also really fun for Summer!
Each of these polishes retail for $8 and can be purchased at
Zoya.com. Which is your favorite?

The last two are my fave as well. I want that green on my toes now!
ReplyDeleteOh I looooove Zoya!
ReplyDeleteI need to own some Zoya nailpolish!! I think my favorite ones are Rikki & Tinsley!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you have noticed any particular brands of nail polish that have stayed on for a long time. Whenever I do my nails they start chipping within a day or two, and so I really want to find a good brand of nail polish! Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteI think the key is to find a good base coat. I have been on the hunt for the best base coat and when I find it I will let you know! But it definitely helps to do 3 layers: base coat, polish, top coat. The brand that stays on the longest for me is Butter London (but they are pretty spendy).
DeleteI've tried a copper metallic shade from Essie and it was gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBobby and Rikki are my favorite from this collection.
The way the light hits them is almost making them look ombre.
I have that Essie color! It has "Penny" in the name, but I can't think of it right now...I love that color!
