Manicure Monday: NYC Taxi Yellow Creme

Well, it's time for Manicure Monday again.  This week I'm wearing Taxi Yellow Creme by New York Color.  I am kind of disappointed in this color...it just doesn't work well with my skin tone.  I think it would look great on someone with darker skin.  Luckily I only paid a dollar, so it wasn't too big of a loss!

    I would only be able to pull this off toward the end of summer when I'm nice and tan! Lol. I like it though. I have hot red on now from a dinner we went to. It was a fun color to wear with my little black dress.

    I love the yellow! One of my favorite colors, I'm going to have to give this a try, especially since it was only $1.

    I have the same problem with wearing yellow! My skin has yellowy undertones and between that and my blond-ish hair, I have to be picky about my yellows or I clash. However, I'm not seeing the clash with your polish...looks good to me, lady! :)

    Hey thanks so much for stopping by! And talk about great timing - my nails are drying as we speak (and I type carefully!) I just tried out my first "bold" color of the season - I usually stick to muted colors for my nails, and save the crazy stuff for my toes! I loved Essie's Turquoise and caicos though! Definite winner =)

      It is pastel yellow, which is why I bought it...it feels so Springy!

    Wow, I love hat colour, but I also have very light skin, so I don't think it would suit me either. :(

    On my nails right now is coral/pink polish. I can't remember the name, but I think the brand is Revlon. I'm not that much of a nail polish wearer, since I work in a preschool and tend to chip it very quickly!

    I love nail polish! I have to stop at every drug store and look at them to see if I need a new color. I need nail polish like I need a hole in the head! I paint my nails at least twice a week or as soon as they start chipping. Good thing my hubby LOVES the smell, LOL!

    Thanks for finding my blog cuz I am loving yours and following back! I actually just bought some yellow nail polish recently. I use to hate wearing anything yellow for that reason that I thought it didn't look right on my skin tone but it is such a popular color right now and I have learned to love it and can't seem to get enough of finding ways to use it in my style and decor!

We made it through rush hour, found our hotel (Loews Regency on Park Avenue), ate at a kid friendly Italian joint and are now relaxing in our two bedroom, three bathroom suite (we got upgraded for free!).
