Chambray Top: JCPenney, Lace tank: Kohls, Skirt: c/o Sugarlips, Bracelets/Necklace: c/o Oasap |
Well, I did it. I finally bought a Chambray top...and I am in love! I was so hesitant to buy one of these, because they really remind me of something I would have worn in middle school. But, I have worn it twice in the past 2 days...it can go with so many things! I wore it with a pair of floral skinnies to the Utah Fashion's Night Out event, then I wore it with this pleated skirt. I thought it would be fun to group the pleats, denim and lace all together. What do you think?
I'm really excited to see what lovely outfits you are wearing on this beautiful Sunday! Last week's linky party was so much fun...I hope you all got a chance to browse through the blogs that linked up, cause there were some great outfits! Now it's a new week, so let's get started...
The rules are simple:
1. Link up to a specific outfit post, not your main blog page.
2. Grab a button and add it to your post (a text link is also fine).
3. Comment on this post and at least one other post...the whole point is to visit each other!
P.S. Make sure to enter my 1000 Follower Group Giveaway, as well as the Texturable Giveaway!
Chambray is my latest favourite fashion trend and you look awesome in it, Jenny! I so wish I was linking up again this week, but unfortunately I'm out of town. Will be back for next week's Sunday Style!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, definitely come link up next week and I hope you are having a great weekend :)
DeleteYou are too cute! I'm still in my pajamas... that's fancy enough to link up right? ha ha.
ReplyDeleteWell...are they the silky pajamas or just cotton? Hahaha...okay, maybe you better not link them up :)
DeleteBeautiful!!! I love that top and skirt of yours. Me too! I found a chambray shirt, but since I thrifted it and though is says small I still have to fix the arm part of the shirt. But I found two so it's awesome. :) Lovely outfit of yours. Mine is up!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting that you found a thrifted one! I never find anything good at thrift stores, I have the worst luck!! Thanks for linking up :)
DeleteLove this oufit. Cream and pink coral so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI just got lucky while thrifting and it actually looks like the one you got. I even wore it yesterday. :)
ReplyDeleteI love chambrays!!! They are awesome! Cute outfit!

DeleteI've been loving chambray shirts since 'before they were cool' :P So of course I'm a fan of your look!
ReplyDeleteWow I am surprised that is the same top. It looks great both ways.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with them too, even before it became a trend. I bought three from a thrift store because I had a feeling they would come back and they did. I guess I should make a post about the outfits I put with them so I can link up. Another time I guess.
Thanks for sharing. I love reading your post.

I've been wanting to buy a chambray top for a while. I'm so looking at J.C.Penny's next time I go to the mall! You look beautiful. <3
ReplyDeleteI am really picky sometimes, which is another reason it took me so long to get a Chambray top...I couldn't find one I loved! But, when I found this one at JCP I was so happy, because it was just what I was looking for (at a price I could afford)! Thanks so much :)
Deletei love chambray shirts! they go with just about everything! love how you styled it, that maxi skirt is so pretty! thank you for inviting me to you linky, its fab!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I am so glad you were able to link up your cute outfit!
DeleteI LOVE your outfit today, Jenny! And what would you know, I was eyeing that Chambray shirt yesterday at JCP. But sadly, they were out of my size {otherwise, I would have bought it!}. I'll have to keep checking for my size to come back in stock. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite! I love my chambray shirts so much that I have two! New follower!

I am SO WITH YOU on the chambray top -- totally want one but a little hesitant as it was totally a middle school trend (but I think we called them denim shirts then). :)
ReplyDeleteChambray shirts are the best! Love your pleated skirt. Thank you for inviting me to link up! :)
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a chambray top--even though I too was a little hesitant since I thought it screamed 90s. But I converted! Thanks for invite--and I need a lace shirt so I'll be on the lookout for that one at Kohls. I love that place a little too much...
ReplyDeleteLooking fabulous in pink. Love the combo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I am your newest follower! I love your skirt - I have a similar one (as you saw) but sometimes I wish it were long like yours :)

ReplyDeleteI have bought recently 2 chambray shirts and find they are my new go to piece. They go with anything and look great. Thanks for stopping by and asking me to link up. I did and love your blog.
ReplyDeleteMy chambray seems to be my "no-brainer" shirt when I can't decide what top to wear. This one looks great! Thanks for the invite to link up!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! The chambray shirt is great! It's such an easy piece to mix and match with everything!
ReplyDeleteLove the chambray top!! Definitely on my "must buy SOON" list!

I keep debating whether to actually break down and get a chambray top...may need to. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the chambray shirt! I recently got a very similar one and it is my new favorite top. :) Linking up!
ReplyDeleteLike your outfit! And I understand how you felt,I'm pretty sure I had a shirt similar to that in 7th grade. :) Linking up this week :)
ReplyDeleteI love the look of chambray but I think button-downs looks so silly on me.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to know when to wear a trend the second time it comes around. But I think the chambray shirt is a classic and one worth investing in. It looks darling the way you have it styled, Jenny! Thanks for hostessing today!!! ~Sarah
ReplyDeleteJenny, that lace top is gorgeous and so are you!
ReplyDeleteLove the accessories too.
I totally want to try out a chambray! We can kick it old school:)
You wore it well!
Love it! Such a cute look. ;)
ReplyDeleteYay for chambray! I found my way to chambray this past spring, and no looking back! :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the textures in this combo...the chambray, the lace, the ombre. So, so pretty. Popping over from WIWW.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute look, love the chambray!
