France, Day Four.

Our fourth day in France was probably my favorite.  We traveled up to the Normandy region and visited a beautiful place called Mont St-Michel.  A gorgeous Benedictine Abbey sits on top of a little  island and at the base of the rocky hill sits a tiny village (only 44 people live there).  Mont St-Michel was a very popular pilgrimage site, but approaching the island was no easy feat for the pilgrims, because of the extremely quick tides and quicksand in the bay!

Ok, I'm sure you guys are sick of these pictures, but I promise I only have one more day of pictures to share!  And they are from our visit to Normandy, which was so incredible.
