Cherishing My Jewel Tones

I have always had a love for jewel tones. Pretty soon it will be time for pastels and brights, so I figure I better wear these lovely, rich colors while I still can!

This last picture is an extremely simple way to wear your hair. Just make a plain old braid to keep your hair out of your face and pin it underneath your hair! This would look much better with a french braid, but alas...I have never learned the art of french braiding. It is on my list of things to learn.

Blog Design Update

I decided to redesign the blog, because I wanted a more classy and simple look. I know nothing about blog design or html, so it took forever to look up how to do everything, but I think it turned out alright. It probably would have been worth it to pay someone to design it, but:

a) I am cheap
b) I learned a lot in the process

So, what do you think? Anyone have any constructive criticism? Please go easy on me...remember this is my first time doing this kind of thing!
