Flight Attendant Anniversary: 5 years!

Today marks the 5th anniversary of my career as a flight attendant. How does time fly by so fast?! It seems like just yesterday I was busy memorizing announcements, learning first aid and being tested on regulations.

(These pictures make me really miss my kids being little!)

My job has certainly been filled with ups and downs these past five years. I've had to endure crazy schedules, weather delays and a few difficult passengers. On the other hand, I've had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, develop a thicker skin and work with some fantastic flight crews. And let's not forget the best part of my job: the travel! For me, there is nothing more exciting than exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. I feel so blessed to have a career that allows me to see the world and do what I love. It's been an emotional roller coaster at times, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. Honestly, I can't really imagine not being a flight attendant and I'm excited to see what the next five years have in store for me!

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for me to answer questions that some of you might have about my job. If you have any questions please leave them in a comment below or e-mail me at jenny@planepretty.com and I'll answer them in an upcoming blog post!
