I've noticed that subscription boxes are all the rage lately and I can see why...they are convenient, fun and usually a pretty good deal! Well, today I have a new one to share with you. Square Hue is a nail polish subscription service that sends 3 full-sized nail polishes to your house each month. The boxes are $21 a month (with free shipping) and there is no commitment, so you can cancel at any time or put your subscription on pause whenever you want. The nail polish is "3 Free", which means there is no DBP, Formaldehyde, or Toluene. The polish isn't tested on animals and it's made right here in the United States. Here are the colors that were included in my first box:
This dusty rose color is "Wartime Romance". This was a lovely dark pink and it was opaque in two coats. Sorry, there is only one coat in this picture, but I promise you it looks better with two coats!
This peachy light-pink is "High School Crush". It's such a perfect spring color, especially if your employer doesn't allow you to wear bold nails! This is the color I kept on for the week and I have already received so many complements on it. The only downside is that it needed 3 coats.
My favorite of the three colors was "Dear John", a deep purplish-red with a subtle sparkle. This color is so pretty, pictures can't do it justice! It was opaque in two coats, but I almost could have gotten away with just one.
So, what do you think? Do you subscribe to any beauty box subscriptions?
